Diploleana grandiflora 'Orange Shower Flower'
Features: Outstanding small shrub producing red and yellow lantern like flowers over a long period of time. Main flowering is late autumn into spring. Flowers resemble a shower rose.
Conditions: Grafted onto hardy rootstock that will tolerate most soil types except heavily waterlogged areas. Will grow in full sun to part shade. Tolerant of coastal exposure and alkaline soils.
For best results: Tip prune young plants to develop a bushy habit and to encourage most flowers. Stake young plants well. Mulch around the base of the plant to suppress weeds and retain moisture over extended dry periods.
